Kinds of Sentences

Declarative - A declarative sentence makes a statement. A declarative sentence ends with a period.

Examples:
1. She finished the puzzle.
2. We laughed at the joke.
3. Chris walked home in the rain.
4. I ride my bike to school.
5. Jerry ate an apple for lunch.

Interrogative - An interrogative sentence asks a question. An interrogative sentence ends with a question mark.

Examples:
1. Where is your jacket?
2. Who owns this hat?
3. Will Amy come with us?
4. What game can we play?
5. How long is this movie?

Exclamatory - An exclamatory sentence shows strong feeling. An exclamatory sentence ends with an exclamation mark.

Examples:
1. Hooray, our team won!
2. What an exciting trip we had!
3. How hot it is today!
4. What a busy day I had!
5. What a noisy bird that is!

Imperative - An imperative sentence gives a command.

Examples:
1. Show me how to fly the kite.
2. Pour the milk in the glasses.
3. Open the door for me, please.
4. Look at this stone.
5. Put your papers on my desk.

Joseph Fernan Ngoho was born on April 16, 1982, in the small baranggay of Pagsangahan, San Francisco, Quezon. He currently resides at Otabon, Tabango, Leyte. He was the second child in a family of 6 children with 3 boys and 3 girls. His father Juan Ngoho, currently was working as OFMPC stuff and also having a sideline as a tailor while his mother Lucia Ngoho working as dressmaker (self employed). He was a hardworking child (doing a POTPOT passenger during Saturday and Sunday) until he graduated from college. He was also employed of different companies such as Catarman Industries Inc., International Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Juvio Corporation. He currently was working at MasterListBuilder.
